You’ll be part of a company backed by significant investment, strong growth, and mission-proven technology. \nYou’ll work alongside world-class engineers and innovators who have already delivered thousands of operational flight hours, high-impact ISR capabilities, leading counter-UAS systems, and breakthrough autonomous effects. \nYou’ll help shape a unified platform that enables operators to see more, decide faster, and act with confidence across the modern battlespace. \nTogether, Ondas Sentinel is building something bigger than any one company, a scalable, integrated defense organization designed to meet emerging mission needs with speed, precision, and purpose.\nIf you’re energized by ambitious missions, rapid innovation, and a chance to help define the future of autonomous defense, we’d love to have you on the team.\nPosition: Staff Accountant \nLocation: Boise, ID\nWork Arrangements: On-site\nPosition Description: The person in this role will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of accounting information, preparing financial reports, supporting audits, and maintaining compliance with federal regulations, including FAR and DFARS.\nRequired Duties and Responsibilities:\nDelivering timely and accurate financial processing, month end close, cash management reports, and balance sheet reconciliation in accordance with GAAP and company policies \nManage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals\nSupport the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts and projections \nMaintain compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other regulatory requirements\nMonitor and reconcile project costs, labor charging, indirect rates, and billing for government contracts (e.g., T&M, FFP, CPFF)\nSupport audits (DCAA, external, internal) by preparing required documentation and responding to inquiries\nCollaborate with Program Managers and Contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost allocations, and budget tracking\nHelp maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency\nParticipate in ERP system upgrades and enhancements (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\n3 - 5 years of progressive accounting experience\nStrong understanding of GAAP\nIntermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, etc.)\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong ethics and integrity, especially when dealing with confidential financial data\nAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team\nCapable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines\nComfortable in a fast-paced, regulated environment\nStrong background in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) \nAdvanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/federal regulations \nProficient with Accounting Software/General Ledger Software programs \nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nProficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Microsoft Navision or similar)\nExperience with revenue recognition (ASC 606), Project Accounting and General Ledger Accounting\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\nClearance Level Required: It is an essential requirement for the person in this role to have a legal right to work in the United States and be eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance. \nTravel: None\nWorking Conditions: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment or warehouse to field testing.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nMust have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.\nRegularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.\nMay be performing physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items.\nExport Control / ITAR Requirement:\nThis position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
