This position owns the V&V strategy, test architecture, verification methods, and requirements coverage. The V&V Lead collaborates across engineering disciplines, interfaces with program leadership and customers, and ensures CUAS EW systems meet performance, environmental, and mission-readiness standards.\nRequired Duties and Responsibilities:\nDevelop and manage comprehensive V&V plans, strategies, and test architectures for CUAS EW systems\nDefine verification methods, acceptance criteria, and test configurations for CUAS detection, tracking, identification, and electronic attack functions\nLead creation of detailed test procedures for lab, chamber, and field environments\nOversee execution of RF, system-level, and software integration tests, including troubleshooting complex issues\nDrive root-cause analysis for RF anomalies, timing defects, interference paths, system level, and integration failures\nEnsure end-to-end requirements traceability and verification coverage across system and subsystem specifications\nSupport and lead environmental, EMI/EMC, and qualification testing per MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, and applicable defense standards\nLead formal reviews including test readiness reviews, verification reviews, and customer/government witness test events\nPrepare high-quality V&V documentation including plans, procedures, reports, discrepancy summaries, and closure artifacts\nProvide technical direction and mentorship to V&V engineers and technicians\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in verification, validation, or test engineering for EW, CUAS, or other systems\nStrong understanding of RF systems, EW behaviors, and threat signal characteristics,\nProficiency with RF test equipment and EW test assets\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex system-level test activities and cross-functional investigations\nStrong understanding of requirements management and traceability tools\nExcellent communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nExperience developing or verifying CUAS detection, identification, and defeat solutions\nKnowledge of advanced EW concepts such as adaptive jamming, spectral shaping, or signal classification\nFamiliarity with embedded systems, high-speed digital hardware, FPGA/DSP-based processing, and real-time architectures\nExperience supporting field tests, UAS range events, or operational EW evaluations\nExperience with systems engineering processes (INCOSE, MBSE tools)\nStrong scripting or automation skills (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW)\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance\nPart 107 License\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field required\nMaster’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred\nAdditional training or certification in RF engineering, EW systems, or UAS technologies is a plus\nClearance Level Required: None\nExport Control / ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms\nWork Authorization Requirement:\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.\nTravel Required: 10% Not required for daily activities, but probable travel once per quarter.\nWorking Conditions:\nThe diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:\nMust have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.\nSalary: $160,000 - $180,000 annually\nSalary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions.
