Title: Product Manager \n\nLocation: Abuja\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe ideal candidate will drive product strategy, manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, translate business requirements into innovative solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric products aligned with business objectives.\nWe are seeking an experienced, results-driven Product Manager with a strong consulting background, hands-on experience working in Agile environments and a good understanding of digital financial services and Open Banking.\n\nQualifications\n\nKnowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.\nRelevant professional certifications in Product Management, Agile, Scrum, or Business Analysis are an added advantage.\nStrong understanding of product management principles, methodologies and best practices.\n\nExperience:\n\nExperience managing digital products from ideation through development, launch, adoption and continuous improvement.\nExperience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA, operations and business stakeholders.\nProven experience working in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.\nExperience with fintech, digital banking, financial technology solutions, or Open Banking-related initiatives is highly desirable.\nMinimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or related roles.\nExperience managing client relationships, facilitating stakeholder engagements and communicating product performance and progress.\nDemonstrable consulting experience, including client engagement, requirements gathering, business process improvement and solution delivery.\n\nMust Have:\n\nAbility to translate business requirements into product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.\nStrong product management capabilities, including product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization and lifecycle management.\nAbility to define, monitor and interpret product KPIs, adoption metrics and customer feedback.\nProficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence.\nGood understanding of Open Banking concepts, API-driven financial services, consent-based data sharing and data privacy principles.\nStrong communication, presentation, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.\nStrong consulting, stakeholder management, business analysis and problem-solving skills.\nHands-on experience managing product backlogs and coordinating delivery with technical teams.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver within agreed timelines.\nExperience coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), product demonstrations and feedback sessions.\nPractical experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.\n\nNice to Have:\n\nFamiliarity with Figma, Miro and other product design or collaboration tools.\nHands-on experience developing, implementing, or managing Open Banking products, APIs and financial data integration solutions.\nExperience developing or managing B2B, SaaS, or enterprise software products.\nExperience conducting market research, competitor analysis, product discovery and usability testing.\nExperience supporting product commercialization, go-to-market strategies and business case development.\nExperience with credit assessment, lending, financial data analytics, payment solutions, or other fintech products.\nKnowledge of AI, Machine Learning, automation and data-driven financial products.\nPrevious experience in technology consulting, management consulting, or digital transformation projects.\nCertifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or other relevant Agile certifications.\nExperience using product analytics tools such as Power BI, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.\nFamiliarity with Open Banking ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, customer consent management and secure data-sharing practices.\nFamiliarity with SQL, APIs, system integrations and software development processes.\n\nHow to
