This role is responsible for driving cloud adoption, optimization, and innovation across the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker who can lead solutioning efforts, improve efficiencies across work streams, and optimize cloud resources while maintaining a strong focus on security and compliance. AWS is the primary cloud platform for this role; candidates should also bring working experience with Google Cloud Platform to support multi-cloud initiatives.\n\nDevelop and implement cloud strategies by expert-guidance on complex architectures and systems.\n\nDrive efficiency improvements across multiple work streams, optimizing processes and cloud resource utilization.\n\nDevelop and implement cost optimization strategies for cloud resources, ensuring maximum value from cloud landscape.\n\nProvide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services.\n\nManage policies for cloud service usage, new technology requests, and ensure the establishment of a secure cloud environment.\n\nEnsure appropriate availability and uptime design for cloud services.\n\nWork independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.\n\nDebug cloud stacks and manage cloud infrastructure.\n\nImplement and maintain a zero-trust architecture in cloud environments, ensuring robust security.\n\nAnalyze and lead the development and implementation of cloud applications, including the migration of existing on-premises applications to the cloud.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nActive Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements. \n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.\n\n8+ years of experience \n\n1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), in addition to primary AWS expertise. \n\nExpert-level understanding of AWS cloud platform and service offerings.\n\nWorking knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) core services (e.g., Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL/BigQuery, Cloud IAM), sufficient to support multi-cloud or migration workstreams.\n\nExpert in DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).\n\nStrong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures. AWS EKS experience preferred.\n\nExpertise in implementing and managing zero trust architectures in cloud environments.\n\nProficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).\n\nSolid understanding of network security principles and cloud-native security tools.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead and deliver large-scale cloud migration and optimization projects.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n\nExperience in developing and implementing cloud governance policies and security frameworks.\n\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.\n\nRelevant cloud certifications are highly desirable (AWS certifications preferred; Google Professional Cloud Architect/Developer a plus).\n\nExperience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures is a plus.\n\nAbout E-INFOSOL\n\nE-INFOSOL is a Service Disabled and Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
