Position Summary: The Precisely/Evolve MDM Analyst will serve as e.l.f. Beauty’s primary technical owner of the Precisely/Evolve platform, driving data quality, enrichment, and master data management across customer, vendor, and product domains. This is a platform-forward role for someone who is hands-on with Precisely/Evolve workflows and brings the analytical mindset to continuously improve data health at scale. Experience with SAP master data is strongly encouraged - the two platforms are closely linked in our environment - and candidates who bring dual platform fluency will have a meaningful advantage. The ideal hire is proactive, technically sharp, and eager to build and improve, not just maintain.
Responsibilities
- Own the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Precisely/Evolve for data quality, enrichment, matching, and survivorship across customer, vendor, and product master domains.
- Design, build, test, and deploy data quality rules, enrichment workflows, and matching/survivorship logic within the Precisely/Evolve platform.
- Monitor pipeline performance, proactively identify processing gaps or failures, and implement improvements to accuracy and throughput.
- Evaluate and adopt new Precisely/Evolve features and product updates relevant to e.l.f.’s data environment.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all Precisely/Evolve workflows, configurations, and data quality rules.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on the Precisely/Evolve platform, supporting onboarding, training, and troubleshooting for business and IT users.
- Apply master data management principles across customer, vendor, and product domains to define what “good data” looks like - including data standards, field-level rules, hierarchy structures, and source-of-truth logic.
- Design matching and survivorship rules grounded in business context: understanding which record wins, why, and what the downstream impact is if that logic is wrong.
- Develop and enforce data quality thresholds by domain, with clear understanding of business consequences for each type of quality failure.
- Partner with data owners to define and document master data standards that translate directly into platform configuration.
- Apply technical and domain expertise across all three master data domains - customer, vendor, and product - ensuring consistency, completeness, and accuracy across platforms and downstream systems.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to understand domain-specific requirements and translate them into technical rules, validation logic, and platform configuration.
- Collaborate with IT on integration design to ensure Precisely/Evolve outputs flow correctly into connected systems including SAP.

- Ability to design matching, survivorship, and enrichment logic from first principles - not just execute pre-built configurations - required.
- Experience with SAP master data management (Material Master, Customer Master, and/or Vendor Master) strongly preferred; dual Precisely/Evolve + SAP experience is a significant differentiator.
- Proven ability to identify data quality gaps and proactively drive platform or process improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to data detail and integrity.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business and IT teams, translating technical concepts clearly for non-technical audiences.
