The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, data pipelines and Azure-based integrations.This opportunity is suited to a results-driven professional who can translate complex data into meaningful business insights, support data-driven decision-making and contribute to the delivery of reliable, scalable analytics solutions.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies and actionable business insights.\nDevelop, maintain and enhance reports, business intelligence dashboards and performance metrics.\nSupport the development, optimisation and monitoring of data pipelines and ETL processes.\nContribute to Azure-based data integrations and analytics solutions.\nPerform statistical analysis and data modelling to support business reporting and decision-making.\nImplement and maintain data quality controls, validation processes and data governance practices.\nCollaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, integrity and reliability across reporting and analytics platforms.\nDocument analytical methodologies, data processes and reporting requirements.\nQualifications & Experience:\nA relevant NQF Level 7 qualification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a related field.\nAt least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a related discipline.\nStrong proficiency in SQL, Python and R.\nExperience in statistical analysis, data interpretation and insight generation.\nProven capability in data quality management, data validation and data integrity controls.\nExperience with data pipelines, ETL processes and data integration.\nExposure to Microsoft Azure data services and cloud-based integrations.\nAdvantageous Skills: Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar business intelligence tools.\nFamiliarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric or related Azure data services.\nThe Reference Number for this position is NG61559 which is a Contract role in Johannesburg offering a salary of up to R500 per hour salary negotiable based on experience.
