The position partners with Engineering, Salesforce Operations, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure solutions that accelerate business outcomes, reduce technical debt, and improve operational efficiency.\nEssential Duties\nSoftware Engineering & Application Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Vue.js, and SQL.\nBuild scalable APIs, services, and integrations connecting Salesforce with internal and external systems.\nMaintain application architecture, security, performance, and reliability.\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production troubleshooting.\nSalesforce Development & Platform Engineering\nDesign, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Flow.\nBuild and troubleshoot complex automations, triggers, integrations, and asynchronous processes.\nOptimize Salesforce data models, system performance, and platform maintainability.\nSupport Salesforce configuration, permissions, deployments, and technical issue resolution.\nPartner with Salesforce Operations to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions.\nArchitecture & Cross-Platform Integration\nCollaborate with Engineering and Salesforce teams on architecture decisions and shared technical standards.\nDesign secure, scalable integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.\nIdentify architectural gaps, redundant functionality, and opportunities to simplify systems.\nEnsure new solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and long-term technology strategy.\nDelivery, Innovation & Continuous Improvement\nIndependently own complex technical initiatives from design through production release.\nBreak large projects into smaller, measurable delivery milestones.\nSupport technical proof-of-concepts with clear feasibility assessments and production-readiness requirements.\nProactively identify technical debt, automation opportunities, and process improvements.\nPartner across teams to share workloads, remove blockers, and accelerate delivery.\nStrategic Thinking & Communication\nAnticipate business and technology needs and recommend solutions or priority adjustments.\nCommunicate progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations clearly and proactively.\nEscalate material blockers early, including business impact and proposed resolution.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to balance immediate business needs with long-term platform sustainability.\nMentor developers, share technical knowledge, and strengthen engineering practices.\nTechnical Skills\nRequired\n5+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong experience with PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, SQL, and REST API development.\nHands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, Flow, and Lightning Web Components.\nExperience integrating Salesforce with external applications and services.\nStrong understanding of relational databases, object-oriented programming, and API architecture.\nExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployments.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex application, Salesforce, and integration issues.\nWorking knowledge of application security, data integrity, and scalable architecture.\nPreferred\nExperience with Vue.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.\nExperience with AWS, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.\nSalesforce Platform Developer I certification.\nExperience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and enterprise automation.\nFamiliarity with event-driven architectures, message queues, and asynchronous processing.\nExperience with AI/LLM integrations and automation platforms.\nSuccess Measures\nDelivery: Complete assigned initiatives within agreed milestones, with clear business outcomes.\nReliability: Reduce recurring defects, integration failures, and manual work.\nArchitecture: Demonstrate alignment across Salesforce and Engineering before major technical changes.\nEfficiency: Improve maintainability, reuse, and
