You'll own robotic cells end-to-end - from path planning and EOAT integration to commissioning and cycle-time optimization - and serve as the dedicated robotics owner the team needs as we scale. This is a hands-on role for someone who has deployed industrial robots in production and wants to build a robotics function from a strong foundation. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering leadership team.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nProgram, simulate, and deploy ABB and Fanuc robots for assembly, pick-and-place, and material-handling applications.\nOwn robotic cells from concept through commissioning, including path planning, EOAT integration, and safety.\nOptimize cycle time, reliability, and throughput of production robotic cells.\nIntegrate robots with Beckhoff controls, vision systems, sensors, and end-of-arm tooling.\nDevelop and maintain robot programs, frames, and tooling calibrations.\nLead on-floor commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of production cells.\nMentor junior robotics engineers and set programming standards.\nWhat you will bring to this role:\n5+ years programming and integrating industrial robots in production - ABB and/or Fanuc.\nHands-on experience with robot cell design, EOAT integration, and commissioning.\nFamiliarity with machine vision, sensors, pneumatics, and safety systems.\nUnderstanding of how robotics integrate with PLC/motion control (Beckhoff a plus).\nStrong troubleshooting skills on live production equipment.\nBS in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.\nExtra points for the following:\nBoth ABB and Fanuc programming experience.\nOffline programming / simulation (RobotStudio, Roboguide).\nMachine-vision and force-control integration.\nAerospace, PV/solar, or thin-film manufacturing background.\nClosing\nThis is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Arlington, TX facility.\nWe are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used - so we're looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience.
