Staff Electrical Engineer (Test Systems)

Join our team as a Staff Electrical Engineer (Test Systems) and play a crucial role in testing avionics flight and ground hardware for E-Space satellites. You will collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to develop the automated test framework for satellite avionics and systems. This position is based in Saratoga, CA, and requires a strong background in custom electronics design and testing, as well as proficiency in electrical test equipment and programming languages.

Missions

• Participate in all phases of testing avionics flight and ground hardware for E-Space satellites, collaborating with engineers of various disciplines to develop the automated test framework.
• Own the custom functional test equipment design from clean sheet to flight hardware production test, including the development of functional test PCBA and other hardware requirements.
• Execute flight hardware qualification and production acceptance testing, including ambient functional and environmental tests, and support DUT anomaly resolution.

Profil recherché

- 10+ years of experience in electronics hardware development and testing including schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware characterization testing, and automated test implementation

- Strong documentation skills for test procedures, results, analysis, etc

- Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment

- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar

- Proficiency with electrical test equipment including power supplies, loads, oscilloscopes, thermal chambers, etc

- Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout

- Programming skills in Python, Tcl, and C/C++

- Experience with mechanical design in Solidworks

- Experience with radiation effects testing
