This role focuses on providing expert Environment, Health & Safety guidance across the full lifecycle of BESS projects - from design and construction through to commissioning and operations & maintenance (O&M).\nThe ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of German construction health and safety regulations, and practical experience in the renewable energy or BESS sectors. You will support compliance and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance across project sites, with a hands-on approach to risk assessment, method statements (RAMS), site audits, and promoting a positive safety culture.\nWorking closely with our Project Implementation, Engineering, and Service teams, the EHS Advisor will help ensure E- Storage projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and in full alignment with EMEA regulatory requirements and best practice. You will also play a key role in integrating EHS considerations into the development and deployment of our proprietary BESS technology (Solbank).\nWhat You’ll Be Doing as an EHS Advisor\nProvide EHS advice and support across EMEA BESS projects, ensuring compliance with EMEA legislation and company standards.\nParticipate in the review and development of Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, and other safety documentation in line with CDM regulations.\nConduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to reinforce EHS best practices and drive engagement.\nSupport incident investigation and root cause analysis, with a focus on prevention and learning.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to embed safety into the design, construction, and operation of BESS installations.\nPromote a strong health and safety culture throughout the organization and supply chain.\nProactively recognize and encourage positive workplace EHS practices, and compliance among project personnel and contractors.\nSupport overall EHS program improvement initiatives and contribute to global best practice alignment and implementation.\nBe willing and able to travel to all sites through the full EMEA region as per business requirements. \nOther duties as assigned by the management and Director of Quality and EHS\nTeam up with talented colleagues and partners to achieve project goals.\nChampion our standards for quality, safety, and sustainability.\nHelp us keep improving-your ideas are always welcome!\nWhat It’s Like to Work Here\nAt e-STORAGE, you’re more than just an employee-you’re part of a team that values your ideas, your background, and your unique perspective.
