To accelerate the world’s renewable energy transition and create a more sustainable, resilient energy future for everyone.\nWith our innovative SolBank lithium-iron phosphate battery technology and comprehensive project services, we’re not just building products we’re powering communities and making a difference worldwide.\nLocation:\nThis is an onsite opportunity at .Bypass/ Richmond/ TX\nPosition Summary:\nThe Service Technician will be an integral part of the service team with the main responsibility of commissioning and completing preventative and corrective maintenance of CSI Energy Storage’s Solbank Storage Power Block (SPB). The individual will also be responsible for completing obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate must be able to travel and complete tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.\nCommission CSI Energy Storage’s Solbank Storage Power Block.\nPreventative and Corrective Maintenance of SPB’s to adhere to warranty requirements.\nObligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s which may include: Energy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s) - Power Conversion Stations (PCS) - Ring Main Units (RMU’s) / Switchgear - Transformers - SCADA - Networking Devices\nProvide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment and achieve availability and capacity guarantees.\nOversee and supervise sub-contractors on-site where required.\nAssist in developing standard operating procedures and processes.\nComplete work order documentation in a timely matter.\nEnsure inventory of spare parts accuracy.\nPerform proper LOTO and switching procedures as required.\nSupport client training during commissioning.\nAdhere to all health and safety rules and policies.\nOther duties and projects as assigned.\nQualifications & Experience:\nQualified Electrical Technician\nMinimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy.\nOSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 certification is accepted as long as OSHA 30 is obtained soon after hire)\nPrevious training and knowledge of inverters.\nSCADA experience\nKnowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is an asset.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated proficiency using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel)\nPrevious experience with a CMMS software program - Desired\nMust possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nFirst Aid Trained.\nMust be able to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time).\nAbility to function successfully both independently and within a team.\nWhat It’s Like to Work Here\nAt e-STORAGE, you’re more than just an employee-you’re part of a team that values your ideas, your background, and your unique perspective.
