In this role, you’ll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB). This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.\nWhilst you’re working in field services, your work will directly impact our mission to create a cleaner, brighter future. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, share their ideas, and make a real difference-every single day.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing as a Sr. Service Technician\nCommission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block\nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements\nManage obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s, which may include:\nEnergy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s)\nPower Conversion Stations (PCS)\nRing Main Units (RMU’s) / Switchgear\nTransformers\nSCADA and networking devices\nProvide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees\nOversee and supervise sub-contractors on site when required\nAssist in developing standard operating procedures and processes\nComplete work order documentation in a timely manner\nEnsure accuracy of spare parts inventory\nPerform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed\nSupport client training during commissioning\nAdhere to all health and safety rules and policies\nComplete other duties and projects as assigned\nTeam up with talented colleagues and partners to achieve project goals.\nChampion our standards for quality, safety, and sustainability.\nHelp us keep improving-your ideas are always welcome!\nWhat It’s Like to Work Here\nAt e-STORAGE, you’re more than just an employee-you’re part of a team that values your ideas, your background, and your unique perspective. Here Is What We Are Looking For\nQualified Electrical Technician\nMinimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy\nOSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 certification is accepted if OSHA 30 is obtained soon after hire)\nPrevious training and knowledge of inverters\nSCADA experience is beneficial\nKnowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is an asset\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nDemonstrated proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel)\nPrevious experience with a CMMS software program is preferred\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record\nFirst Aid Trained\nAbility to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time)\nAbility to work successfully both independently and within a team\nDemonstrated professional appearance and conduct\nGreat communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.\nA true commitment to safety, ethics, and sustainability.\nWhat It’s Like to Work Here\nAt e-STORAGE, you’re more than just an employee-you’re part of a team that values your ideas, your background, and your unique perspective.
