This position is part of a team that is primarily focused in the Food & Beverage industry. This position has an 80% billable (project focused) requirement.\nYou will:\nProvide technical guidance, leadership, and quality control for a team of engineers (8-10) across multiple projects and programs.\nEnsure engineers maintain high utilization by proactively managing workload distribution, project assignments, and forecasted labor needs.\nCommunicate staffing needs, capacity constraints, and resource risks to leadership.\nWork with Program leadership, Sales, and Marketing to drive program growth.\nPerform performance evaluations on a yearly basis\nDevelop and execute focused training plans to enhance individual skillsets\nExecute projects as the technical lead on time, on budget, and within scope\nDesign control system networks and control panels\nDevelop PLC and HMI code\nDevelop controls system documentation (i.e. IO list, device list, scope of work, conduit schedules, routing tables, FAT and SAT plans)\nPerform project audits to ensure compliance with program/company standards\nLead major project milestones meetings, including all design and development reviews\nProvide in-person/onsite technical assistance for project quotes, investigations, and installations.\nSupport project planning across all phases: kickoff, requirements, design, development, testing, installation, and commissioning.\nIdentify risks related to scope, budget, and timeline; proactively escalate concerns to project management.\nMaintain project labor budgets and deadlines, coordinate project schedule with stakeholders\nTypical responsibility breakdown\nIndividual Project Work - 30%\nProject Technical Management - 50%\nEngineering Development - 20%\nBe an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.\nYou have:\nBS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent educational background.\n8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration industry.\n 3+ years managing and leading a team.\nKnowledge of standard engineering practices and procedures.\nAbility to develop PLC and HMI programs within one or more languages (Rockwell, Inductive Automation, AVEVA, Schneider, etc.)\n\nExperience with process controls instrumentation.\nAbility to travel up to 30%.\nA DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork. \nBe an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates. \n Benefits & Perks: \n401k + match + prompt enrollment.
