You will work closely with cross-functional teams, integrating industrial systems, and ensuring high-performance, scalable, and secure automation applications.\nYou will:\nDeploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose.\n\nDeploy high-availability virtualization environments using Proxmox VE.\n\nDeploy and manage MQTT infrastructures including broker clustering, redundancy, security, and large-scale topic architectures.\n\nDesign, develop, and implement Ignition-based SCADA solutions for industrial automation projects.\n\nBe a subject matter expert for MQTT Integration, containerized virtualization environments, Ignition architecture, Gateway configuration, Perspective development, and relational database integration.\n\nWork cooperatively with engineering, design, production, and field service staff.\n\nBe aware of Project budget and schedules for the purpose of recognizing and communicating issues to PMs before becoming a conflict.\n\nSpecify and configure various hardware components such as instrumentation, PLCs, communication systems and industrial control panels.\n\nPerform on site functional testing of installed automation systems.\n\nMentor and train engineers, providing technical guidance and Ignition best practices.\n\nBe an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.\n\nYou may:\nDevelop/modify design documentation - drawing packages, method of procedures, sequence of operations, testing scripts.\n\nCreate tools, methods and approaches to increase engineering efficiency.\n\nDevelop and Lead training classes internally and externally.\n\nAssist Business development team to evaluate and promote opportunities with predesigns, estimates, and in person presentations.\n\nYou have:\nBachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.\n\n7+ years of experience in the control system industry.\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience with Inductive Automation Ignition (Perspective, Vision, SQL, Tag Historian, Scripting).\n\nExperience with Docker based deployments and virtualized environments.\n\nExperience with MQTT architectures and brokers such as EMQX, Ignition MQTT Distributor / Engine\n\nCurrent Gold certified in Ignition.\n\nExtensive knowledge of advanced Ignition concepts, including system architecture, scripting, and integration best practices.\n\nStrong development skills in Jython, SQL, and JavaScript for building robust and scalable solutions.\n\nFamiliarity with UI/UX principles to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.\n\nAble to work independently on projects and tasks with a very organized and methodical approach\n\nBasic understanding of control system network topologies\n\nExperience commissioning in “live” environments.\n\nA DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.\n\nYou May Have:\nExperience with PLC or DDC controlled data center projects\n\nExperience with AVEVA Wonderware, FactoryTalk View SE, OPC UA/DA, Rockwell or Schneider PLC’s, Tridium Niagara, Eclypse Designer.\n\nExperience with Building Management & HVAC Control Systems\n\nExperience with BMS and EPMS\n\nBenefits & Perks: \n401k + match + prompt enrollment.
