This role verifies that work meets approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and commissioning requirements while coordinating corrective actions with the responsible teams.\nThis role will report onsite in Shippingport, PA.\nYou Will:\nProvide field quality oversight for BMS, EPMS, PLC/SCADA, and third-party control-system work.\nReview approved drawings, specifications, sequences, submittals, points list, network architecture, quality plans, and commissioning procedures.\nVerify installation and commissioning readiness through inspections, documentation reviews, and coordination with project teams.\nLead FAI, HFAT, SFAT, site acceptance testing, and Levels 3 through 5 commissioning to confirm procedures are followed and results are properly documented.\nMonitor compliance with contractual, owner, safety, quality, availability, and resilience requirements.\nIdentify nonconforming work, document deficiencies, assign corrective actions, and verify closure by the responsible parties.\nMaintain quality records, inspection reports, test evidence, redlines, issue logs, and turnover documentation using industry best practices, and organizational processes, and tools.\nCoordinate with project management, engineering, commissioning teams, contractors, vendors, and site operations to resolve quality and readiness issues.\nReport quality trends, recurring defects, schedule risks, and unresolved issues to the Quality Control & Commissioning Manager.\nSupport audits, root-cause reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities.\nBe an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.\nYou Have:\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, engineering technology, quality management, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.\nThree or more years of quality control, commissioning oversight, construction supervision, systems integration, or controls experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, or industrial environments.\nWorking knowledge of BMS, EPMS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, control networks, integration protocols, and commissioning processes.\nAbility to review control drawings, electrical one-lines, mechanical schematics, sequences of operation, network diagrams, points list, specifications, submittals, and test procedures.\nExperience conducting inspections, witnessing tests, documenting nonconformances, coordinating corrective actions, and verifying deficiency closure.\nUnderstanding of data center redundancy and availability architectures, including N, N+1, 2N, and 2N+1, and familiarity with NFPA 70E, ISA/IEC 62443, and applicable project requirements.\nStrong leadership, organization, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple contractors and technical teams.\nAbility to travel to project sites and support off-shift, weekend, or critical testing oversight as required.\nRelevant quality, commissioning, controls, electrical, or instrumentation certifications are preferred.\nBenefits & Perks: \n401k + match + prompt enrollment.
