At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence.\nOverview\nConstruction Manager to support the Tank Farm Projects (TFP) organization. The Construction Manager will apply an extensive and diversified knowledge of Construction Management principles and practices in assignments and related work.\nResponsibilities\nThe specific duties of the Construction Manager will include but are not limited to the following:\nIndependently manage all conventional aspects of small to medium, non-stand-alone Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), capital improvement or facility/infrastructure upgrade projects from initiation through closeout in accordance with quality standards and requirements.\nPlan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.\nManage fixed prices, time, and material contracts with a variety of subcontractors in multiple facilities.\nInterface with other organizations (ESH&Q, Procurement, Engineering, Operations) in the preparation, issuance, and performance of construction contracts.\nPerform routine field walk downs of constructions sites and interface with subcontractor management.\nManage the pre-construction activities and ensure coordination with deployed and matrix resources.\nDefine the construction project objectives, background and expectations required for Constructability Review.\nEnsure that facility/site conditions effecting or potentially impacting risk the construction work are defined for the construction planning.\nMay be tasked with off-site inspection of in process and/or completed electrical assemblies prior to shipment to site.\nMay lead Constructability Review Meeting for assigned construction project/tasks and define gaps and major risk areas.\nSupport Procurement Specialist with pre-bid questions, answers, and request for proposal (RFP) addendum.\nParticipate in resolving contract issues with Procurement Specialist prior to the awarding of contracts.\nNotify the Task Project Manager and Manager of Construction if unforeseen issues potentially impact the construction planning or project baseline.\nParticipate in the technical proposal review team.\nMake decisions independently on engineering problems and methods and represents the department in conferences to resolve important questions and coordinate work.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills needed to facilitate project milestones.\nMust take prompt action to accomplish assigned objectives and understand/identify issues and opportunities.\nDemonstrate interpolative thinking, utilizes advanced techniques, modifications, or extensions to practiced theories, and is generally seasoned technically.\nComply with client policies and procedures.\nEnsure ISMS Principles are incorporated into organization's activities.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMust be a US Citizen\nBachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Construction Management or Project Management or Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.\nTen (10) years of related experience.\n(Years of experience required are in addition to years of equivalent experience to satisfy an educational requirement equivalency.)\nExperience in managing construction staff or projects.\nHigh-risk construction experience. \nDesired Qualifications/Skills\nExperience in Department of Energy nuclear facility.\nExperience with electrical and instrument/control field Installations on a construction project.\nKnowledge in the development and process of construction contracts.\nPrevious experience with high-risk radiological work.\nBenefits\nE2 Federal Services, LLC offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off.\nWork Environment/Physical Demands\nWork Environment\nThis job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
