Responsibilities Prevent damage to trees marked for protection, root systems, and overhead branches. Biological Survey: assess habitats, like nests and other dwellings for birds, bats or other biological species as needed in the area. Conduct Avian Survey in accordance with the project scope of work. Perform a survey of possible habitats the morning of or day before the beginning of clearing activities. Be present for tree clearing activities. Prepare to and rescue any downed nests.
