At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence.\nOverview\nThe Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting integrated project schedules for a portfolio of electric transmission, substation, and utility infrastructure projects. This role supports both greenfield and brownfield capital projects by providing advanced scheduling expertise, schedule risk analysis, forecasting, earned value management, progress measurement, and project controls reporting. The Senior Scheduler utilizes Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, and related project controls systems to support project planning, performance tracking, financial forecasting, and executive reporting.\nResponsibilities\nSchedule Development and Management\nDevelop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules for complex facility, and utility infrastructure projects and sub-stations.\nDevelop cost- and resource-loaded schedules and integrate schedule progress with cost information to support forecasting, resource planning, cash-flow projections, and Earned Value Analysis.\nDevelop integrated project schedules from approved scope, project execution plans, engineering deliverables, procurement requirements, construction sequencing, and contractual milestones.\nEstablish and maintain approved project baseline schedules and perform current-versus-baseline analysis to identify milestone movement, schedule variance, and developing areas of concern.\nIntegrate EPC and contractor schedules, subcontractor schedules, and schedule fragments into the overall project and program master schedules while maintaining appropriate schedule logic and coding structures.\nIntegrate Primavera P6 data into other platforms, such as Oracle Unifier, K2, SAP, IBM Planning Analytics.\nMaintain compliance with established Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project codes, global codes, calendars, templates, and scheduling procedures across projects and programs.\nSchedule Analysis and Risk Management\nAnalyze schedules for compression and recovery opportunities and work with Project Managers, construction teams, engineering, procurement, and contractors to develop mitigation and recovery strategies.\nConduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) by developing and inserting schedule fragments to evaluate the prospective impact of scope changes, design modifications, unforeseen field conditions, procurement delays, and other project events.\nEvaluate potential schedule impacts associated with design changes, procurement delays, construction constraints, contractor performance, and field conditions.\nPerform comprehensive schedule delay analysis using Primavera P6 to identify, quantify, and assess delays affecting critical and near-critical paths, contractual milestones, and forecast completion dates.\nPerform detailed Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify critical and near-critical activities, schedule constraints, float erosion, emerging delays, and potential impacts to key project milestones.\nPerform Earned Value Analysis and evaluate planned value, earned value, actual costs, schedule performance, cost performance, and forecast trends to support management decision-making.\nPerform routine schedule QA/QC assessments, including reviews of logic, open ends, constraints, excessive float, negative float, out-of-sequence progress, activity durations, calendars, coding, and compliance with scheduling standards.\nProvide timely schedule analysis and recommendations to project leadership regarding potential delays, resource constraints, sequencing issues, and milestone risks.\nProject Controls, Reporting, and Financial Support\nDevelop dashboards and management reports to communicate project schedule status, milestone performance, critical-path activities, schedule variance, cost trends, and forecast completion dates.\nPublish approved schedules, reports, and schedule extracts in PDF, Excel, and other required formats to designated SharePoint and project document-control locations and Oracle Unifier.\nSystems and Data Management\nMaintain project schedules and controls data within Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, and other enterprise systems.\nSupport integration with ERP and business intelligence platforms.\nCommunication and Stakeholder Coordination\nCollaborate with project controls leadership and stakeholders to develop and refine schedule templates, scheduling procedures, standards, coding structures, and scheduling manuals.\nCommunicate schedule deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to Project Managers, project controls personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders.\nCommunicate effectively to a diverse audience of different levels of education and expertise verbally and in writing; able to present to a large audience; works well in one-on-one and group settings requiring excellent interpersonal skills.\nCoordinate schedule information with cost controls and project management teams to produce detailed project reports analyzing actual costs, forecast costs, project cash flows, schedule performance, and cost/schedule trends.\nCoordinate scheduling activities across multiple projects and work with other schedulers to maintain consistent scheduling methodology and reporting standards.\nDevelops, trains, and mentors lower-level schedulers.\nFacilitate regular schedule review meetings with Project Managers, engineering, procurement, construction, contractors, and client stakeholders to validate progress and resolve schedule issues.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree.\n10+ years of project scheduling experience.\nPrimavera P6.\nExperience with Oracle Unifier.\nExperience supporting electric transmission, substation, and utility infrastructure projects.\nKnowledge of CPM, TIA, schedule risk analysis, recovery planning, and EVM.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMI-SP, PMP, AACE PSP, or equivalent certification.\nExperience with transmission line, substation, renewable interconnection, or utility capital programs.\nBenefits\nE2 Consulting Engineers, LP offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off.\nTravel\n10%\nLocal Candidates only\nYesDrug Free Workplace\nE2 Consulting Engineers, LP is a Drug Free Workplace.
