At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence.\nOverview\nWe are currently hiring for an IT Specialist - Utility Operational Technology (OT).\nThis role will provide IT operational and maintenance support to client systems & applications. The role is similar to a Systems Administrator, who ensures our client can power through utility grid service outages, with minimal downtime or disruption.\nThis hybrid role will report to the client site at least 2 days per week.\nResponsibilities\nUtility Grid - Systems & Applications\nDesign, Configure, Test, Administer, Automate, and Monitor grid application software (OpenGrid, Pragma, Outage Management System, OMS, etc).\nTroubleshoot real-time grid integration, and system administration.\nAssist with system logic, processes, and data.\nEnsure high standards of performance for customer communications, and operational activities.\nWrites and reviews documentation to describe configuration processes, logic, and test plans.\nContribute to database and operating system server upgrades.\nScripting\nCreate and execute Powershell scripts and/or Python code.\nCollaboration\nCollaborates directly with IT team maintaining, improving, and implementing communications, hardware, and software infrastructure.\nProvide high-tier technical support during active outage events, including nights and weekends during severe weather or system emergencies. Must support on-call duty support rotation shared with existing team.\nSupport data requests from SQL databases specific to electrical utility events.\nQualifications\nRequired Skills/Attributes\nAssociate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field\n3-5 years of IT experience\n3-5 years of IT experience supporting operational technology (OT)\n3-5 years of IT experience working in Electric Utilities software environments (hands on with CGI - Outage Management System Applications such as Pragma, OpenGrid, or Oracle, etc)\nExperience performing data analysis\nExperience using variety of SQL tools (such as PL/SQL)\nExperience with Scripting tools (such as Powershell or Python)\nExperience with Windows Server maintenance\nDesired Skills/Attributes\nExperience in regulatory environments (especially working with agreements/contracts)\nElectric Utility industry experience or similar (such as Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Water Utilities, etc.)\nBenefits\nE2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off.\nWage Data Per State Requirements\nThe Salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000.
