At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence.\nOverview\nThe Payroll Administrator will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of multi-company and multi-state payroll, with an emphasis on union payroll administration. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations while maintaining payroll records, auditing payroll data, and resolving employee payroll-related issues.\nResponsibilities\nPayroll Processing\nProcess weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule\nCalculate wages, overtime, bonuses, retroactive payments, and salary adjustments.\nAdminister union payroll in accordance with collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and applicable pay/wage rates.\nMaintain accurate payroll records and employee earnings histories.\nGenerate payroll reports and analysis.\nPayroll Compliance & Tax Administration\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.\nProcess payroll tax filings, amendments, and corrections.\nAssist with quarterly and annual reporting.\nAssist with year-end activities including W-2 preparation and W-2C corrections.\nEstablish employer withholding and State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) accounts in new states.\nReconciliation & Auditing\nAudit payroll data prior to final payroll submission.\nReconcile payroll registers, taxes, deductions, and benefit contributions.\nResearch and resolve payroll discrepancies, direct deposit issues, and reporting issues.\nPrepare and distribute termination checks.\nWork with Payroll Managers and Human Resources as needed for special projects.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent. \n5+ years of payroll administration experience.\n Union payroll experience.\nMulti-state payroll and payroll tax experience, with an emphasis on California.\nExperience with ADP or similar payroll systems (Gusto, Paylocity, etc.)\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, etc.\nBenefits\nE2 offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off.\nWage Data Per State Requirements\nSalary range for this position is $74,000 - $94,000.
