Designs structure to meet estimated load requirements, computing size, shape, strength, and type of structural members, or perform structural analysis of mechanisms and structures.\nJob Type: Full-time\nSummary of Duties & Responsibilities:\nFollow direction of senior staff and engineering management to conduct structural design, development, analysis, and integration in all phases of a design/development program.\nCoordinate the implementation of structural solutions based on analysis results with the engineering team\nConduct and support experimental testing including load, environmental, and stress testing of structural components and assemblies\nPerform structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis for stresses and strains when the structure is subjected to linear, non-linear, and thermal or vibration inputs\nEvaluate structural integrity of components and systems based on customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines\nAccomplish tasks by developing and/or modifying structural models using general-purpose finite element modeling software for predicting component and system level mechanical behavior\nEnsure compliance with applicable aerospace standards and specifications\nOther activities as may be directed\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong understanding of structural analysis principles (stress, fatigue, vibration)\nKnowledge of composite and metallic structural design\nProficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) tools, including ANSYS and/or NASTRAN (preferred)\nKnowledge of composite and metallic structural design\nExperience with CAD and drafting software\nFamiliarity with GD&T and engineering drawing standards (ASME Y14.5)\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nCredentials and Experience\nBS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering required\n3-5+ years of demonstrated experience in structural analysis and design\nExperience with structural finite element analysis (FEA) tools including ANSYS and/or NASTRAN\nExperience with aerospace or high-performance structures\nExperience analyzing composite and metallic structures\nExperience working with government contracts \nMust be a US Citizen\nSpecial Requirements (established by supervisor)\nWilling to work overtime in support of team objectives as requested by management\nEagle Technologies, LLC offers a full-time position with full benefits, competitive pay, and opportunity to grow within a cutting-edge aerospace company.\nEagle Technologies, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
