They are the visible link between leadership intent and field execution, ensuring operational excellence through care, consistency, and communication.\nORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIP:\nWill hold 3 direct reports\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:\nLead by example, demonstrating commitment to safety, respect, integrity, and excellence.\nCommunicate daily goals, expectations, and changes clearly to the employees.\nEncourage open communication, active involvement, and idea sharing.\nIdentify hazards and act immediately to maintain a safe work environment.\nProvide timely feedback, recognition, and coaching to support employee growth.\nPromote accountability and ownership for safe, high-quality work.\nSupport mine planning and ensure company communications are passed down.\nVisible and engaged in the field.\nManage the development of the Life of Mine Plan that meet Eagle Mine’s overall strategy \nManage the production of weekly, monthly, and rolling forecasts plans that meet Eagle Mine’s goals and objectives derived from the Life of Mine plan\nSupport the development of all underground mine designs meets operational best practices\nResponsible for accurate and timely distribution of KPI metrics reporting for daily to yearly time ranges\nWork with the site business improvement and financial personnel to identify improvement opportunities\nOther duties as assigned\nEDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:\nIndividual must have at least a B.S. in Mining Engineering or related field\n7 to 10 years of technical and/or operations experience in underground mining and at minimum 2 years in similar roles\nSignificant background in underground safety systems\nExtensive experience in mine planning and mine planning systems\nExperience with cemented rockfill applications, underground rock mechanics and ground support design\nKnowledge with mine ventilation systems and application of Ventilation-on-Demand controls\nStrong analytical abilities along with good communication skills\nExperience in LEAN, Six SIGMA or other business improvement systems preferred\nProject Management skills would be an asset\nKEY PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:\nAction Oriented - Initiates timely action to address important issues.\nCollaborates - Encourages unity rather than us vs. them thinking\nCommunicates Effectively - Clear, concise, and professional in communication.\nDecision Quality - Considers various inputs, criteria, and trade-offs to arrive at effective decisions and recommendations.\nEnsures accountability - Follows through on commitments.\nManages Ambiguity - Accepts needed change despite the uncertainty it brings.\nHSEC ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nEveryone in the workplace is responsible for his or her own safety and for the safety of their co-workers.
