The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $95,191.00 to $156,479.00. As an IT Asset Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the lifecycle of the organization's technology assets, ensuring they are effectively managed, optimized, and aligned with business objectives.\nIn this highly visible role, you will lead asset management strategies across hardware, software, licensing, and technology inventory, partnering with stakeholders throughout the organization to drive efficiency, compliance, and cost optimization. You will play a crucial role in supporting cybersecurity risk reduction, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and maximizing the value of technology investments.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys combining technology, analytics, and process improvement to deliver measurable business value.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nIT Asset Lifecycle Management:\nDevelop and implement strategies for the procurement, deployment, utilization, and retirement of IT assets.\nMonitor and optimize asset usage to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.\nConduct regular audits to maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records.\nWork proactively with Procurement and TPRM to keep inventory records accurate and aligned.\nSoftware and Hardware Asset Management:\nCreate and maintain processes, procedures, and controls for hardware and software asset management.\nTrack software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.\nCoordinate with relevant stakeholders to assess software needs and make recommendations for procurement or retirement.\nMaintain an inventory of hardware assets, tracking their deployment, utilization, and decommissioning.\nDevelop and report on inventory management metrics.\nImplement best practices for hardware maintenance, upgrades, and replacement.\nPerform hardware and software audits.\nServiceNow Expertise:\nUtilize ServiceNow platform for effective IT asset management, configuration management, and incident tracking.\nLeverage ServiceNow reporting and analytics to provide insights into asset performance and usage.\nITIL Practices:\nImplement ITIL best practices for Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM).\nEnsure alignment of asset management processes with ITIL framework.\nVendor Management:\nManage relationships with third-party vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service level agreements. Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements or changes as needed.\nPurchase Order Management:\nManage the creation and tracking of purchase orders using ServiceNow.\nPerform audit and reconciliation of purchases.\nQualifications\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field\n4 years experience will be considered in lieu of degree\n5 years IT Asset Management with a focus on both software and hardware assets and demonstrated knowledge of technology lifecycle\nCertification in ITIL Foundation and demonstrated experience implementing ITIL practices\nPrevious asset management platform experience; ServiceNow asset management experience strongly preferred\nProficiency in using ServiceNow for IT asset management\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nThird-party vendor management experience is a plus\nDon't meet all the requirements?
