Candidate will perform complex inspections and train inspectors to inspect assemblies and finished product for Aviation, Defense, and Space designs. Requires inspection using a microscope and some product bench testing.\nResponsibilities\nPerform in-process quality inspections, receiving inspections ( to include GD&T) and final product inspections\nIdentification and verification of current documents, drawings and procedures for specific processes\nRecord, distribute and file appropriate data gathered from inspections and testing as per instructions\nAbility to use computer systems to perform daily functions and documentation\nMust be capable of handling delicate materials\nEffectively communicate with supervisors and operators if defects are identified\nPosition will work under direct supervision with company policies and procedures \nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nU.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent, college or technical coursework leading to a degree or certificate is perferred\n3-5 years manufacturing inspection experience (quality control) preferred (position may be filled at higher or lower grade level based on experience)\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently and as a part of team\nCapable of reading blueprints\nStrong knowledge of optical comparators\nProficiency with using caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, gauges and other standard Quality measuring devices\nStrong basic arithmetic skills\nUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standards (GD&T.)\nERP usage a must.
