Collaborates effectively with other members of the team to deliver on the team’s backlog.\nEssential Functions\nParticipates in the discussion and implementation around complex capabilities.\nDevelops complex features and capabilities to enhance the Early Warning core product offerings.\nManaging source code using Git.\nReceiving, reviewing, and approving pull requests ensuring that code quality remains high.\nQuerying platform data using SQL-based DBs.\nWorking on complex Java Web Services using Spring Boot.\nDocument complex details and decisions in Confluence.\nBuilding automated tests alongside sprint work that is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline, considering environment variables, and providing recommendations.\nAble to troubleshoot complex bugs that may arise during development.\nSupport the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.\nThe above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position. Incumbents will follow instructions and perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation and/ or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\nMinimum 5 years direct experience in Software Engineering or related experience.\nProficient with Git source control and Git flow branching model.\nSpring / Spring boot framework is required.\nFamiliarity with modern DevOps practices.\nFamiliarity writing automated tests.\nProficient with SQL.\nProficient in RESTful service design.\nExperience with Docker/ Kubernetes.\nExperience with Kafka.\nExcellent written and spoken communication.\nBackground and drug screen\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdditional related education and/or work experience preferred\nExperience with SOAP services.\nFamiliar working with common data format standards like XML, JSON, YAML, etc.\nNoSQL experience (Redis, HBASE, AeroSpike, etc.)\nFinTech experience is highly beneficial\nPhysical Requirements\nWorking conditions consist of a normal office environment.
