We are looking for a designer with experience across a range of mediums to support the business - their work will be seen across social media, events, OOH, press, broadcast and more. Working with the existing brand guidelines and acting as a brand guardian, they will ensure that we only ever put our best foot forward visually. They will have opportunities to create original content and brainstorm ideas with a brilliant team, as well as working to clear briefs and delivering content on time. If you want to make the world’s most prestigious environmental prize one of the world’s most famous brands, then this job is for you.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBrand Guardianship\nYou will become the ultimate champion for The EarthshotPrize’s brand, with a clear and established understanding of our visual identity, you will be responsible forensuring all internally and externally communicated designed materials are in line with set guidelines\nSocial Content\nInterpret briefs from the social media team and collaborate internally to design eye-catching static content\nEnsure all static media, including thumbnails and other supportive assets, adhere to brand guidelines and enhance overall engagement\nWork within existing Figma templates while also suggesting improvements or additions to enhance content quality\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of content specifications and best practices across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok\nDesigning new responsive pieces in line with current trends and new, exciting ideas from yourself and from the team\nInternal Media\nWorking with various teams across the organisation to perfect presentation decks for different business purposes\nAlso working on various reports, and other digital assets such as email signatures and media packs that meet internal communication needs\nOOH, Press & Advertising\nWork with varied specs on international OOH opportunities - egbillboards, roadside flags, venueand car wraps, etc\nCreate assets for press, talentand creators to use across their channels - graphics, quotes, headshots, etc that will help spread the word of the Prize\nCreate content for any ad-hoc advertising opps, from broadcast graphics to newspaper spreads and more\nEvents Content\nWorking closely with the events team on major moments throughout the year, designing all event materials from invitation design to event signage and presentation screen content\nCandidate Criteria:\n5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasingyour work\nMust be fluent in Figma, where we predominantly workas a team\nConfident designing editable templates in PowerPoint\nComfortable working with Google Sheets to track status of work\nExperienced working in Microsoft (Teams, SharePoint, etc.) for cross-team collaboration\nStrong understanding of different formats for social media (e.g. news trends, subtitling needs, platform specific specs, etc)\nExcited by and proactive with bringing forward ideas you’veseen on social and elsewhere\nAbility to work within existing templates while also contributing creative ideas for improvement\nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines\nStrong communicationskills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams\nConfident working on diverse projects as outlined above -
