coverage.\nSupervise NOC engineers, ensuring timely alert response, incident handling, and escalation.\nDefine and enforce incident response procedures, escalation matrix, and operational standards.\nEnsure adherence to SLAs, MTTR, and operational KPIs.\nIncident & Major Incident Management\nAct as Incident Commander during high-severity incidents (P1/P0).\nCoordinate with Engineering, DevOps, Security, Database, and Product teams during incident resolution.\nLead incident communication, tracking, and resolution management.\nConduct incident reviews and post-incident analysis.\nMonitoring & Observability Governance\nOwn and continuously improve monitoring strategy across infrastructure, applications, databases, and security.\nEnsure optimal usage and configuration of:\nAWS CloudWatch\nElastic APM\nKibana dashboards\nPercona Monitoring and Management\nSnyk\nVulnerability monitoring tools (NST Assure)\nIdentify monitoring gaps and work with engineering teams to improve observability.\nProactive Reliability & Risk Management\nIdentify reliability risks, system bottlenecks, and recurring incidents.\nDrive proactive incident prevention initiatives.\nEstablish alert tuning, noise reduction, and actionable alert strategies.\nImprove system availability, stability, and reliability posture.\nSecurity & Vulnerability Oversight\nMonitor and track vulnerabilities reported via Snyk and NST Assure.\nEnsure timely escalation and remediation tracking of critical vulnerabilities.\nWork closely with Security and Engineering teams to improve system security posture.\nProcess Improvement & Automation\nDevelop and improve operational playbooks, runbooks, and SOPs.\nIdentify opportunities to automate monitoring, alerting, and operational workflows.\nDrive operational efficiency and reduce manual effort through automation.\nReporting & Stakeholder Communication\nProvide regular reports on:\nIncident metrics\nSystem uptime and availability\nVulnerability status\nOperational performance\nCommunicate operational health to engineering leadership and stakeholders.\nTeam Development & Mentorship\nMentor and train NOC engineers.\nBuild operational expertise
