Nail Technician

As a Nail Technician at East Bank Club, you will join a team of hospitality professionals who are committed to providing exceptional service to members. East Bank Club is a leading fitness, social, and dining destination in Chicago's River North neighborhood. As a Nail Technician, you will have an opportunity to leverage your creativity and passion for beauty to enhance the experience of our clients.

Rate of Pay: 30% commission, plus $6.40 per hour and gratuity. Commission structure: 30% of service revenue. Estimated earnings range: $25-30 per hour based on typical services volume. 10% commission on product sales.

Part time, 15-20 hours per week.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with clients.
• Provide a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and gel polish.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and techniques.
• Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Participate in training programs and attend staff meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Illinois Nail Technician license.
• Knowledge of nail care products, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

• Must be able to sit or stand for sustained periods of time.

• Ability to make movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.

• Ability to grasp and reach, sometimes above shoulder level.

• Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
