East West Bank gives people the confidence to reach further.\nOverview\nEast West Bank is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to support data-driven marketing strategies and business decisions across the organization. This role will analyze customer marketing, campaign, and channel data to identify trends, measure performance, and develop actionable insights that support customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical capabilities with business acumen and the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze customer, marketing, campaign, product, and channel data to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.\nDevelop and maintain marketing dashboards, reports, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).\nMeasure and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns across digital, email, direct, social, and other channels.\nAnalyze customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and cross-sell opportunities.\nDevelop customer segments and profiles to support targeted marketing campaigns and customer lifecycle strategies.\nPartner with Marketing and business leaders to define analytical requirements and translate business questions into data-driven solutions.\nUse SQL and other analytical tools to extract, manipulate, validate, and analyze large and complex datasets.\nIdentify trends, patterns, and opportunities within customer and marketing data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.\nSupport campaign targeting, testing, measurement, and optimization initiatives, including A/B testing.\nDevelop dashboards and visualizations that provide Marketing leadership with visibility into campaign and business performance.\nCollaborate with Data & Analytics, Technology, Finance, Product, and other crossfunctional teams to ensure data integrity and consistent reporting.\nMonitor data quality and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of marketing reporting.\nPrepare presentations and communicate analytical findings, trends, and recommendations to business stakeholders and management.\nSupport strategic marketing initiatives and provide ad hoc analysis as needed.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in marketing analytics, data analytics, business intelligence, customer analytics, or a related analytical field.\nExperience within banking, financial services, fintech, payments, or another regulated industry.\nExperience analyzing marketing, customer, campaign, digital, or financial data.\nStrong SQL skills and experience querying and analyzing large datasets.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation, and analysis.\nExperience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.\nKnowledge of Python, R, SAS, or other statistical/analytical programming languages.\nExperience with A/B testing, predictive analytics, or statistical modeling.\nDemonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nApplicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
