East West Bank gives people the confidence to reach further.\nOverview\nWe are seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to design, build, automate, and support secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure. This role will primarily focus on Microsoft Azure and work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Network, Application, and DevOps teams to support enterprise cloud services.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.\nBuild and manage compute, storage, networking, DNS, load balancing, and private connectivity.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.\nManage Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, managed identities, and cloud security controls.\nImplement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.\nSupport hybrid cloud connectivity and integration with on-premises infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure, networking, identity, performance, and availability issues.\nParticipate in production incident response, root cause analysis, change management, and vulnerability remediation.\nSupport backup, disaster recovery, resiliency, and business continuity requirements.\nOptimize Azure resource utilization and cloud costs.\nMaintain cloud standards, documentation, and operational procedures.\nQualifications\n5+ years of infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering experience.\n3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.\nStrong knowledge of Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and monitoring.\nExperience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code technologies.\nStrong PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar automation experience.\nExperience with Git and CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.\nWorking knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred\nExperience with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise cloud governance.\nExperience with AKS, containers, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Backup, or Azure Site Recovery.\nExperience supporting hybrid and regulated enterprise environments.\nAzure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-700, or AZ-400.\nApplicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
