The Safety Coordinator will coordinate the implementation, management, and continuous enhancement of an organizational safety program in a multi-state, multi-site agency.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field with 5-7 years of experience in the health and safety field OR\no High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the health and safety field.\nAbility to obtain and maintain OSHA-30 Hour Certification within one (1) year of hire.\nDemonstrated experience in project management, data analysis, and reporting required.\nExperience coordinating safety or operational functions required.\nExperience participating in compliance audits in a highly regulated field, preferred.\nKnowledge of OSHA regulations, preferred.\nSkilled in Microsoft 365 Suite of Products (Word, Excel, etc.).\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation\nEssential Responsibilities:\nImplement, manage, and enhance organizational safety programming to ensure compliance across all applicable licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards across all service lines.\nChair and coordinate cross-organizational committees focused on safety practices.\nPartner with Occupational Health, Property Management, and other key stakeholders to implement strategies to reduce workplace injuries and mitigate risk.\nCoordinate the regular review and updates of emergency operation plans, safety data sheets, and other site-specific safety documents.\nCollect, organize, retain, and present on documentation from inspections, walk-throughs, drills, and other compliance-related evidence.\nManage and continuously improve digital systems to collect and maintain safety-related data and documentation. \nManage the agency’s quarterly safety audit process.\nParticipate in safety incident review, debrief, and response process.\nCoordinate purchasing of safety related gear and supplies for the workplace.\nPartner with the Training Center of Excellence to design and implement workplace safety training programs.\nPrepare and present reports on training metrics, near misses, incidents, investigations, action plans, and corrective actions taken to further safety practices within the workplace.\nReview, update, and implement applicable safety policies and procedures.\nParticipate in cross-organizational committees, workgroups, and projects as assigned.\nNon-Essential Responsibilities:\nPerform additional duties as requested.\nHours: F ull-time, 40 hour/week position. Monday-Friday\nCompensation: $65,000-$67,000 based on experience and credentials\nWhat’s in it for you?
