We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our India team. In this fully remote role, you'll work on designing and building scalable, secure server-side applications and APIs that power our products. While you'll work from home, you'll be officially part of our India office based in Bangalore.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries (SQL and NoSQL).
- Ensure application performance, security, and reliability at scale.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers if needed.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Strong command of Node.js, Python, or a similar backend language/framework.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e. g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Solid understanding of API design, authentication, and security best practices.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
