Easygo develops online gaming and betting technology from its Melbourne studio. Its engineering teams build platforms, games and streaming products. The company grew rapidly into one of the largest private technology employers in the city.

Are you ready to get the Easygo Edge?

Love sports, esports, and igaming? Be our next Social Media Coordinator.

What you’ll build with us:

Support the planning, scheduling and monitoring of our social media content - with a sharp focus on sports, esports, igaming, and global trending moments. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, this role will help execute our social media strategy, maintain our online presence, and engage with followers across multiple platforms and Spanish-speaking global markets.

We need someone who lives and breathes sports and internet culture, someone who knows the score before the final whistle, spots a meme before it peaks, and instinctively understands how to tie a trending moment seamlessly back to our brand voice. If you're the person your group chat relies on to explain what's blowing up online and why, this role is for you.

We know that innovation ignites when we build and create together, in person. This is a full-time opportunity at our Melbourne office. You’ll work right where it all happens, surrounded by our fearless crew shipping high-impact work.

Who is Easygo?

We’re a high-growth, high-velocity tech company with millions of eyeballs on us every day. We’re building the future of fearless tech.

We’re the creators behind some of the most popular brands including Stake, KICK and Easygo Games. While they command a fierce global following, our crew is employed directly by Easygo and that’s where the real fun happens.

We’re always looking for people who are hungry, humble and move fast. People who are ready to Unify, Disrupt and Evolve with us.

With us you’ll grow faster and go further. Your work has impact. And that gives you an edge you can’t get anywhere else.

The impact you’ll make:

Real-Time Sports, Gaming & Trend Coverage

  • Monitor live sports events, esports tournaments, gaming launches, and global trending moments to identify real-time content opportunities.
  • React quickly and creatively to breaking sports news, viral moments, transfer sagas, match results, and gaming/esports headlines, turning trends into on-brand content within hours, not days.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of major sporting calendars (football/soccer, combat sports, motorsport, tennis, basketball, and more) as well as key esports circuits and gaming industry events (e.g., major tournaments, game releases, industry showcases).
  • Understand the nuance of when to jump on a trend and when to sit one out, protecting brand tone and reputation at all times.

Content Planning, Scheduling & Posting

  • Assist in scheduling and posting content across social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, X (and more).
  • Follow the social media calendar to ensure all posts are timely and aligned with campaign objectives, while flagging opportunities to flex the calendar around live sports and trending moments.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media Manager to ensure smooth content rollout and maintain consistency across platforms.

Social Channel Monitoring & Engagement

  • Monitor social media channels to track brand mentions, monitor comments, and stay aware of audience reactions.
  • Engage actively with followers in a tone that feels native to sports and gaming communities: responding to comments, joining relevant conversations, tagging partners, and fostering interaction.
  • Identify and flag potential trends, providing feedback to the Social Media Manager as needed.

Trend Analysis & Competitor Monitoring

  • Stay ahead of social media trends, platform features, meme formats, and creator culture across both mainstream and niche sports/gaming communities.
  • Track how competitors, sports brands, clubs, leagues, esports orgs, and publishers activate around major moments, and bring insights and ideas back to the team.
  • Provide the Social Media Manager with regular trend and competitor insights to inform content planning and engagement strategies.
  • Conduct competitor monitoring to inform content planning and engagement strategies, providing insights to the Social Media Manager for potential adjustments.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and report on social media metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, follower growth) to assess content effectiveness and guide future strategies.
  • Analyse the performance of reactive/trend-led content vs. planned content to help sharpen our real-time playbook.
  • Support the Social Media Manager with insights on engagement trends and content performance for ongoing optimisation.

Your track record:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Deep familiarity with sports, esports, and gaming culture, you follow the leagues, the players, the storylines, and the communities
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (including TikTok and YouTube) and a basic understanding of social media management and listening tools
  • Strong awareness of meme culture, viral formats, and platform-specific content styles
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to social media trends and best practices
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, including under time pressure
