You’ll look after the maintenance, servicing and repair of the equipment and vehicles under your control, with safety at the centre of every decision.\n“This role is about making sure our people have safe, dependable equipment and facilities every day. We’re looking for someone practical and organised who builds good relationships, spots improvements and follows through.”\nThe team & culture\nYou’ll be part of the Luton Engineering and Maintenance team, supporting the people who keep our aircraft operation performing. It’s a fast-paced environment where colleagues work closely, communicate clearly and take pride in solving problems before they affect the operation.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nYou’ll make sure ground equipment and vehicles are maintained in line with manufacturer recommendations, keeping them available for the engineering production team. You’ll maintain clear, accurate records of equipment and facility maintenance activity.\nYou’ll work with external contractors on repairs and maintenance, coordinate waste management and help ensure the facility, equipment and local activity comply with company procedures, airport requirements and health and safety legislation.\nYou’ll give the Base Manager or Deputy Base Manager a daily view of facility and equipment status. You’re proactive, open to change and confident suggesting better ways of working.\nA full UK driving licence is essential.
