# Shift Supervisor

To manage all aspects (personnel, equipment, and materials) of the production operation, according to Company Production Standards, Safety Guidelines, and Customer Shipping Requirements. To originate and/or carry out projects to provide continued improvement in the production operation. Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions and instilling safe working habits to hourly employees. Monitors daily conditions and conducts monthly shift meetings. Become completely familiar with all safety equipment and follow established safety practices at all times. Responsible for housekeeping of operational areas and sets expectations for employees on their shift. Report all injuries and/or safety hazards or violations to Management immediately. Must adhere to Tray-Pak Good Manufacturing Practices, GMP’s Floor presence required to drive production goals. Assign work to subordinates, trains, instructs, and assists employees in overcoming problems encountered on their job. Monitors department operations regularly to insure processes, schedules, and quality are maintained. Diagnosis operating difficulties and take corrective action.
