You will join a high-performing platform engineering team responsible for foundational systems including internal libraries, shared backend services, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and observability. This role involves significant ownership and collaboration, with a focus on improving engineering velocity, reliability, and scalability across the organization. You will build scalable cloud-native platforms using technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and AWS.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nScope and ownership increase with seniority.\n\nBuild and maintain shared libraries and SDKs for areas such as authentication, logging, configuration, API clients, and error handling.\n\nDevelop and support shared backend services and internal APIs.\n\nImprove developer experience through service templates, scaffolding, and local development tooling.\n\nDesign and maintain CI/CD workflows with a focus on reliability, security, and speed.\n\nBuild and maintain observability tooling including metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.\n\nCollaborate with product engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues, support integrations, and review technical designs.\n\nParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response.\n\nWymagania\nCore Requirements\n\n3+ years of experience building backend services using TypeScript and Node.js, ideally with NestJS in production environments.\n\nStrong software engineering fundamentals including understanding of CPU, memory, I/O, concurrency, and performance bottlenecks.\n\nExperience using AI-assisted developer tools effectively while maintaining strong engineering judgment.\n\nWorking knowledge of PostgreSQL including schema design, migrations, and query analysis.\n\nFamiliarity with AWS services such as DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis, and Lambda.\n\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines, including troubleshooting and release workflows.\n\nExperience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or similar.\n\nAbility to learn new tools, technologies, and domains quickly.\n\nCommitment to writing maintainable, reusable, and high-quality code.\n\nSenior-Level Expectations\n\nAdditional backend/platform engineering experience with ownership of systems in production environments.\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL performance tuning including indexing strategies, query plans, and migration management.\n\nExperience designing and implementing CI/CD strategies including release flows, artifact promotion, and security considerations.\n\nExperience building observability practices including SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, and alerting systems.\n\nAbility to lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and influence engineering standards across teams.\n\nSoft Skills\n\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively with globally distributed teams.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nStrong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused thinking.\n\nComfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders and time zones.\n\nOferujemy\nThe role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to work within a high-performing platform engineering team, focusing on improving engineering velocity, reliability, and scalability across the organization.
