The engineering team works with significant volumes of data and builds systems that help business customers consolidate information, measure performance, generate reports, and use data to support decision-making. This position is focused on backend engineering, data processing, analytics, and reporting. You will work on an established production platform and contribute to systems where data accuracy, reliability, scalability, and maintainability are particularly important. The role also involves building AI-enabled functionality and using modern AI development tools as part of the regular engineering workflow.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop and extend data-intensive measurement, analytics, and reporting functionality used by business customers.\n\nWork primarily with TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem.\n\nConvert complex analytical requirements into well-structured SQL and application logic.\n\nWork with SQL query builders and/or ORMs.\n\nBuild and maintain analytical and data aggregation functionality.\n\nWork with large existing production systems.\n\nImplement and safely release production database schema migrations.\n\nDeploy application and database changes while maintaining system availability and stability.\n\nApply a test-driven approach to software development.\n\nDefine testing strategies and build test harnesses for data-heavy functionality.\n\nDesign maintainable solutions using modular application architecture.\n\nInvestigate complex data and application logic and break larger problems into manageable development steps.\n\nBuild AI-enabled product functionality, including integrations that allow product data to be used within AI-driven workflows.\n\nUse AI-assisted coding tools as part of your day-to-day development process.\n\nCommunicate analytical and technical concepts clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.\n\nWymagania\nRequirements\n\n4+ years of professional software engineering experience\n\nStrong understanding of SQL and the analytical logic behind it\n\nExperience working with SQL query builders and/or ORMs\n\nStrong TypeScript skills\n\nProfessional experience with Node.js and its ecosystem\n\nExperience modifying and deploying large production systems\n\nHands-on experience with production database schema migrations\n\nExperience building analytical, reporting, or data aggregation systems\n\nA test-driven approach to development, including experience defining testing strategies and creating test harnesses\n\nWorking knowledge of application architecture and modular software design\n\nAbility to investigate complex logic, identify the right questions, and break problems into clear steps\n\nExperience with Docker\n\nExperience working with CI pipelines\n\nRegular use of AI-assisted coding tools as part of the development workflow\n\nAbility to explain complex technical topics clearly\n\nNice to have\n\nExperience with Python\n\nFamiliarity with the Python data analysis ecosystem\n\nOferujemy\nWhat we
