The coordinator works closely with the Private Dining Manager to ensure seamless planning, communication, and on-site coordination for events of all sizes. Reports to the Private Events Sales Manager and General Manager of Restaurants.\nEvent Coordination & Guest Communication\nRespond to private dining and event inquiries in a timely, polished, and professional manner\nSchedule and conduct site visits and walkthroughs with potential clients\nAssist in preparing proposals, contracts, and BEOs\nSupport client communication pre- and post-event (menus, timelines, headcount, etc.)\nAdministrative & Platform Support\nMaintain accurate records in event management platforms (Tripleseat, Reposite, etc.)\nHelp track deposits, payments, and required documentation\nCoordinate details with culinary and service teams to ensure accurate event planning\nPrepare printed menus, signage, and event collateral as needed\nDay-of Event Support\nAssist with event setup and breakdown alongside FOH and BOH teams\nGreet clients and serve as their on-site point of contact\nLiaise between client and service team to ensure expectations are met\nMonitor service flow and timelines to support smooth execution\nReporting & Feedback\nSupport post-event recaps and feedback collection\nLog guest feedback and identify trends for continuous improvement\nCommunicate regularly with the Private Dining Manager and Corporate Coordinator\n 2+ years of experience in private dining, catering, events, or a related hospitality field\nStrong interpersonal and written communication skills\nExceptional organization and attention to detail\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment\nProficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Tripleseat, Reposite, SevenRooms a plus\nFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event needs\nPassion for Italian food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences\nJob Requirements\nAbility to stand/walk for up to 4 hours\nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs\nFlexibility to support events across multiple NYC locations\nCompensation: This position pays a base rate of $25-$28 per hour + Commission\n Benefits and Perks\nMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Parental Leave\n401K with match or RRSP\nFree family meal daily\nDiscounts at Eataly\nClasses on products and Italian cuisine\nReferral bonus program\nand more!\nEataly is an equal employment opportunity employer.
