The role combines user-needs discovery, hands-on development, delivery coordination, deployment and value measurement. AI strategy, platform policy and final prioritization remain with the relevant Engineering, IT and governance owners.\nKey Responsibilities:\nUser Needs Discovery and Value Definition: Engage engineering users to understand workflows, pain points and root causes, and translate user needs into clear VOC, feasible AI use cases, requirements and measurable success criteria.\nHands-on AI Solution Development: Design, develop, test and deploy practical AI solutions, prototypes, agents and workflow automations, and continuously improve them based on user feedback.\nDigital Engineering Integration and Project Coordination: Support AI integration with engineering data and systems, and coordinate IT teams or external partners to deliver larger or more complex solutions.\nDeployment, Adoption and Value Realization: Pilot and deploy AI solutions, support user training and adoption, and track solution quality, usage and measurable business impact.\nResponsible AI Governance and Data Protection: Apply responsible AI and data governance throughout the solution lifecycle, including data quality and access, cybersecurity, privacy, intellectual property, source traceability, validation and appropriate human review.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Automation, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.\n5+ years in software/application development, data analytics, automation, digital engineering or technical solution development.\nHands-on Python plus practical experience with LLM applications, RAG and/or AI agents.\nPersonally developed or substantially contributed to at least one AI solution taken into user testing or practical use.\nAble to clarify user needs, prepare data, integrate APIs, test solutions and explain technical limitations.\nProfessional working English.\nAt Eaton, we don’t just want to offer you a job, but a journey and experience.
