The Application Engineer will work to drive demand for Bussmann products through technical application support and technical marketing. In addition, they will support more technical and in-depth email inquiries and phone calls. The Application Engineer will be viewed as the technical expert on Bussmann series products and their application.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nA. Provide in-depth technical application support to customers via phone, chat and email\nB. Act as the technical expert from the factory and travel into the field as necessary\nC. Provide inside support for Field Application Engineers on calculating SCCR using UL508A and OSCAR3.0.\nD. Provide guidance on NEC, UL, CSA, & IEC requirements for overcurrent and overvoltage protection.\nE. Participate on NEMA/UL and other industry standards panels and committees\nF. Develop and author technical materials and white papers\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nB.S. in Engineering from an accredited institution\nThree years experience in a technical sales, application engineering or other engineering role in the electrical industry\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position.
