Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe primary function of the Assembler, is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and to produce complete sub-assemblies, and final assembly of control equipment. Checks electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. This department requires physical movement throughout the facility as it relates to mechanical assembly, and obtaining materials through kneeling, bending, squatting, and moving up and down ladders throughout the plant.\nIn this function you will:\nWorks from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment.\nDetermines necessary parts and material and prepares requisition to obtain parts and material from stock.\nPrepares wire for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals.\nRoute out, assembles, wires, adjusts, fits and modifies parts, components, and sub-assemblies to form completed control assembly.\nMay require lifting, bending, ladder work and other forms of movement.\nChecks electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to Asheville Plant quality standards and makes necessary adjustments and alignment when required.\nExecutes engineering and customer changes and makes repairs as required.\nReports irregularities or equipment malfunctions to coach.\nMaintains records as required.\nObserves all safety and hygiene rules and regulations.\nMaintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.\nOther assignments as required.\nOperator of power tools, including battery powered and compressed air\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
