This position is based at our Avery Creek, NC location.\nShift Hours: Friday - Sunday, 7am - 7:30pm\nThe hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe primary function of the Assembler, is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and to produce complete sub-assemblies, and final assembly of control equipment. Checks electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. This department requires physical movement throughout the facility as it relates to mechanical assembly, and obtaining materials through kneeling, bending, squatting, and moving up and down ladders throughout the plant.\nIn this function you will:\nWork from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment.\nDetermine necessary parts and material and prepares requisition to obtain parts and material from stock.\nPrepare wire for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals/ Operate power tools, including battery powered and compressed air\nRoute out, assembles, wires, adjusts, fits and modifies parts, components, and sub-assemblies to form completed control assembly.\nCheck electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to Asheville Plant quality standards and makes necessary adjustments and alignment when required.\nExecute engineering and customer changes and makes repairs as required.\nReport irregularities or equipment malfunctions to coach and maintain records as required.\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
