Perform assembly required for testing preparation and final inspection. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.\n\nIn this function, you will:\nPerform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions and engineering drawings.\nUse various tools, such as an impact gun, sidewinder, and drill to perform the assembly of switchboards.\nHandle materials by following established procedures.\nMaintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.\nObserve good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar.\nPerform other functions and/or tasks as assigned\nFlexing into other functions of the business\nAbility to be a team player and work independently with a sense of urgency\nQualifications:\nRequired:\n\nMinimum of 1 year of internal switchboard manufacturing experience OR 2 Assembler II certifications.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment.\nWilling to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.\nProficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint.\nMust work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup.
