Perform assembly or wiring required for test preparation and final inspection. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping with assigned functions.\nIn this function you will:\nPerform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, and wiring schematics.\nUse various tools, such as wire strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, impact guns, drills, and pliers to assemble switchboards' electrical wiring.\nHandle materials following established procedures.\nMaintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.\nObserve good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar.\nLift 35 lbs. with reasonable accommodation as required.\nPerform other functions and/or tasks as assigned\nFlexing into other functions of the business\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nMust meet ONE of the following qualifications:1 year of electrical wiring experience OR\nA completed technical degree in a related field OR\nConnectors I & II certifications AND 1 year of experience as an Assembler III\n\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. \nPreferred:\n2+ years of wiring experience\n2+ years of assembly experience\nExperience working in wiring assembly\nPosition Success Criteria:\nSelf-driven and able to produce desired results with minimal direction.\nStrong verbal and written communication, persuasion, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment.\nWilling to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.\nProficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint.\nMust work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup.
