Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Assembly Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operation of assembly production lines while providing leadership, direction, and development to production associates. This role ensures safe, efficient, and productive operations through effective workforce coordination, assembly planning, schedule execution, quality compliance, and continuous improvement activities. The Coordinator serves as a liaison between production, planning, engineering, quality, materials, and other functional groups to ensure customer and business requirements are achieved.\nThe successful candidate will lead by example, promote Eaton values and safety culture, drive operational excellence, and support the development of team members while ensuring production goals, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLeadership & Team Development\nLead by example by demonstrating company values, policies, leadership principles, safety requirements, and 5S practices.\nProvide daily coaching, mentoring, training, and development for assembly team members.\nSupport employee engagement and accountability through effective communication and leadership.\nEnsure team members are properly trained, qualified, and following standardized work instructions.\nAssist with onboarding and development of new employees.\nProduction Operations\nMonitor and coordinate daily assembly activities to ensure production schedules and customer requirements are achieved.\nCoordinate staffing needs, work assignments, and resource allocation to support production requirements.\nEscalate issues related to material shortages, equipment downtime, quality concerns, or staffing constraints.\nEnsure products, changeovers, and workflow activities are executed safely and efficiently.\nAssembly Planning & Scheduling\nParticipate in assembly planning activities to support production requirements and customer demand.\nAttend planning and production meetings to review schedules, priorities, capacity constraints, and material availability.\nCollaborate with Planning, Materials, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure production plans are achievable.\nMonitor production schedules and proactively communicate risks that may impact delivery commitments.\nSupport workload balancing and labor planning to maximize efficiency and on-time performance.\nContinuous Improvement\nActively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, value stream activities, and operational excellence projects.\nIdentify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, and inventory management.\nCollect, analyze, and communicate operational data to support improvement efforts.\nSupport implementation and sustainability of process improvements and standard work.\nPromote a culture of problem solving and continuous improvement throughout the assembly area.\nCommunication & Collaboration\nWork closely with Production Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineers, Buyers/Planners, Quality, and other functional teams to resolve operational challenges.\nCommunicate production status, priorities, and issues to leadership and supporting departments.\nSupport cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.\nAdministrative Responsibilities\nUtilize ERP systems (SAP) and other business systems to support production activities.\nMaintain accurate production records and performance metrics.\nSupport departmental reporting and data collection requirements.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nQualifications:\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment \nAssociate’s Degree from an accredited institution \nSKILLS\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working in a team-oriented environment with cross-functional groups.\nWorking knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to analyze data and make sound operational decisions.\nUnderstanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and standard work concepts preferred.\nAbility to lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
