Electrical components would include items like, AC panels, DC panels, battery disconnects, light switches and power outlets which will help power the building and meet state codes. Individuals will assist in pulling and terminating wires, preparing and fabricating conduit as needed and assisting in the overall assembly process of the substation building.\nPosition does not apply to any electrical apprentice programs.\nIn this function you will:\nReference and interpret schematics to install electrical components into the metal structure of the substation building\nUse power tools including drills, hand tools, measuring tape, and pipe bending/cutting tools as needed\nRun and terminate wires to various electrical components (AC/DC panels, disconnects, and terminal blocks)\nVarious operations may require lifting, overhead work, and working from a ladder\nRespond to change notices, customer requested adjustments and development needs\nFocus on safety, customer service, quality, productivity\nMust be willing to work overtime as required, including weekends\nFocus on quality, customer service, safety, productivity.\nWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we - as individuals and as a company - are stronger.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
