The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 +11.12% shift premium per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\nCORE HOURS: FRIDAY - SUNDAY (5AM - 5PM)\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nIn the Assembly Technician role, you assemble, wire, and modify work based on specified guidelines in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these.\nWork to manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, written or oral instruction from supervisor or team lead to established procedures.\nFill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.\nMount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.\nRegularly lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.\nReport shortages to appropriate operators of Kanban inventory.\nInspect all assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.\nRespond to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.\nAssist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.\nAble to effectively train and coach colleagues to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.\nPOSITION CRITERIA:\nUse and knowledge of using hand and air tools.\nBasic Computer Skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills\nWork with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment.\nWilling to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.\nUtilize various hand and power tools, step ladder and crane to assemble and verify quality in a Lean environment.\nMust be able to use standard computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook/Teams and job specific programs such as ENOVIA.\nQualifications:\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nMust have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment\nMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.\nNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered.
