Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton’sCommercial Products & Assemblies division is currently seeking an Assembly Technician III (Kitter) to join our team on 1st shift. This position is based at our Lake Greenwood, SC location. Hourly Rate: Starting at $20.94\nPosition Overview:\nThe Assembly Kitter will be responsible for achieving daily production goals with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role will be responsible for assembling and organizing components into orders to supply the production line to improve assembly efficiency.\nIn this function you will:\nReceive, sort, and PTS scan all incoming materials already delivered to a staging location to ensure accurate tracking and inventory management.\nVerify quantities of materials to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.\nVerify and correlate materials with job orders (GO#) to ensure all necessary components are available for production.\nAssign and PTS scan materials to designated locations upon movement to maintain organized and efficient workflow.\nCollaborate with planners to complete all scheduled jobs, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of production requirements.\nEnter remakes for missing bars or housing materials to address shortages and maintain production continuity.\nInspect material for completeness and quality.\nComply with all safety policies/procedures and WSRA’s. \nOperate a forklift proficiently to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of materials within the facility.\nPerform other job duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to support overall operations.\nEnsure all forklift operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.\nTrain and mentor new employees on the kitting processes and procedures to ensure a well-prepared team.\nFlexibility to assist in other areas of kitting as needed, supporting various functions to maintain smooth operations.\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.\n1-year of manufacturing experience\nLive within 50 miles\nMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future\nPosition Criteria:\nProven problem-solving skills.\nCollaborate with team members.\nBeing flexible and open to changes in processes or tasks.\nMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace.
