In 2025, Fibrebond was acquired by Eaton, expanding Eaton’s modular solutions portfolio while preserving Fibrebond’s strong engineering expertise, customer focus, and manufacturing operations in Louisiana.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Facilities Assistant Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the leadership, coordination, and execution of facility cleaning operations across the Fibrebond campus. This role supports the Facilities Supervisor in overseeing employees, maintaining cleanliness standards, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting the general maintenance of facilities and grounds in a manufacturing environment.\nIn this function you will:\nAssist in directing and monitoring campus-wide cleaning operations, including offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and grounds, ensuring quality and cleanliness standards are consistently met.\nSupport workforce scheduling and daily staffing activities, including work assignments, absences, breaks, and staffing recommendations.\nCoordinate and perform periodic commercial cleaning projects, including carpet cleaning, floor care, and window cleaning.\nAssist with inventory management by ordering, tracking, and maintaining cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.\nSupport employee development through onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and policy enforcement.\nPromote a safe work environment by reporting incidents, addressing unsafe conditions, and ensuring compliance with all company safety and security procedures.\nPartner with the Maintenance Department to coordinate repairs, facility upkeep, and light maintenance activities for non-manufacturing areas.\nEnsure proper use, care, storage, and operation of cleaning equipment and supplies.\nManage daily cleaning checklists and work assignments while assisting team members with cleaning tasks as operational needs require.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution\nMinimum one (1) year of janitorial, housekeeping, facilities maintenance, or related experience\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Minden, LA facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.
