The role focuses on learning core engineering principles, supporting problem solving, and contributing to continuous improvement activities.\nReasonable flexibility will be required in this role to support operational requirements.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProcess & Documentation\nAssist in creating and maintaining process documentation, including work instructions and process notes. \nSupport the development of process flows and contribute to PFMEA activities. \nHelp define production routings and basic process steps. \nAssist with creating labels, packaging definitions, and standard documentation. \nSupport updates to manufacturing equipment programs and records. \nMaintain accurate engineering documentation and records.\nManufacturing Support\nProvide day-to-day engineering support to production areas.\nAssist with machine setup, basic troubleshooting, and process optimisation. \nSupport operation of equipment such as PCB routers, depaneling machines, or test systems under supervision. \nHelp train operators on basic processes and procedures. \nSupport production teams in resolving routine issues. \nOccasionally assist with production activities when required.\nEquipment, Tooling & Maintenance\nSupport the design, sourcing, and implementation of simple jigs, fixtures, and tooling.\nAssist in equipment installation, validation, and setup activities. \nLiaise with engineers, maintenance teams, and subcontractors as required. \nSupport basic maintenance activities and escalate issues where appropriate.\nQuality & Problem Solving\nAssist in investigating production and quality issues using structured approaches. \nSupport root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. \nHelp ensure processes comply with quality and safety standards. \nContribute to continuous improvement activities and small-scale projects.\nOperations & Cross-Functional Support\nSupport goods-in queries and material-related issues. \nAssist with data collection and reporting for engineering and production metrics. \nCollaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams. \nProvide support for new product introduction (NPI) activities where required.\nDevelopment Expectations\nActively develop technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.\nLearn and apply structured problem-solving and continuous improvement tools.\nBuild understanding of engineering documentation, standards, and controls.\nProgress towards independent ownership of defined processes or equipment.\nQualifications:\nLevel 3/HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience.\nExperience in manufacturing or production engineering.\nKnowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation.\nSkills:\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nEffective collaboration.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities.\nContinuous improvement mindset.\nWhat we offer:\nOpportunity to work in a global, highly collaborative environment\nChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\nStrong focus on learning, development, and career progression\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\nA culture that promotes inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
